Comprehensive Eye Examinations
We know your vision is important to you and it's important to us. We offer complete adult and childrens eye examinations for eye health, treatment of eye infections, diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma testing, cataract evaluation, contact lenses of all types, eye glasses and other ocular conditions. Dr. Surdin is also certified as a Laser Vision Consultant. He has practiced in Maryland for 33 years. Dr. Surdin is certified to provide therapeutic treatment of corneal abrasions, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, ocular allergy and other ocular conditions.
Lab on Premises
We have the latest computerized lab equipment on premise. We can make glasses while you wait in some cases. Our opticians have over 15 years of experience in making glasses. We know the latest in lenses of all types whether it be from regular plastic or the newest high tech progressive designs.
Frames
We stock over 900 frames at each location, ranging from basic economical frames to the latest in designer fashions. We are experienced with fitting frames that not only look good, but fit well and that can accommodate the latest in lens designs. Our frame selection includes frames for infants as well as Ansi approved safety and sport frames.

The New Lasik
Dr. Surdin is certified to consult and co-manage your Lasik and refractive surgery needs. He can advise you on the aspects of refractive surgery and co-manage you from the pre-op procedures to the final post-op examination. He can determine if you are a candidate for nearsighted, farsighted, astigmatism or near vision procedures ( that's right, no reading glasses). Ask about the all laser procedure with IntraLase and the new wave front Lasik technique that may give you better than 20/20 vision. Our office is pleased to be affiliated with TLC and Dr. Kameen.
